2. 2006년 11월 4일 협회 창립 30주년 기념 행사의 일환으로 제2차 재유럽 한인 과학기술자 학술대회를 첨부 1 과 같이 개최할 예정입니다. 본 행사는 한불수교 120주년 기념 과학행사와 더불어 진행될 예정이며, 한국과학기술단체총연합회의, 주불한국대사관 등의 후원으로 치뤄질 예정입니다.
3. 본 행사의 목적은 유럽에 분포되어 있는 동포과학기술자들의 화합과 유럽과 한국의 과학기술발전을 위한 교량 역할을 하기 위함이며, 2004년 영국에서 개최된 제1차 대회에 이은 두번째 행사입니다.
4. 이에 학술대회용 논문을 첨부 1과 같이 공모하오니 회원 여러분의 적극적인 참여를 부탁드립니다.

Dear ASCOF members,
On behalf of Prof. HAN Woo-Suck, head of the preparation committee, I inform you the 1st official announcement of the 2nd European Conference of Korean Scientists and Engineers in Europe, which will be held on 3 November 2006 at Paris (Novotel Tour Eiffel).
We are also calling the papers for the conference, and you may first submit the abstract by using enclosed form until 30 September 2006 to Dr. LEE Hae-Young (europelhy@yahoo.co.kr).
The list of topics is:
Session 1 : Fundamental science, Material science, Medical science and pharmaceutics, Environment and energy, etc.
Session 2 : Electrics, Electronics, Communication and Display, etc.
Session 3 : Mechanics, Aeromechanics and physics, Civil engineering, Transport, etc.
The paper should be provided once the abstract is accepted.
Your active participation will be appreciated.
